Edna Conway, our CSO for Global Value Chain, was named Chief Security Officer of the Year by the Info Security Products Guide.

Additionally, Edna received the Outstanding Contribution Award from The Open Group, an international standards body.

Edna was a Golden Bridge Awards Gold Winner for Executive of the Year. She was also named on the Best Women Professional of the Year category.

Lauren Cooney

CIO Magazine named Lauren Cooney, Senior Director, Strategic Programs, one of the Most Influential Women in Open Source.

Lauren Cooney is also one of the Top 10 Cloud Evangelists, according to CloudNOW.

Michelle Dennedy

Michelle Dennedy, VP and Chief Privacy Officer, won Gold for Woman Executive of the Year – Information Technology Services.

Guillermo Diaz, Jr.

Mike Flannagan

Mike Flannagan, VP Data and Analytics, is one of the Irish Technology Leadership Group’s 2016 Silicon Valley 50. The list honors Irish and Irish-American executives driving the most ground breaking work in technology.

Michelle Fleury

Michelle Fleury, Sr. Director and Chief Data Protection Officer, was selected as the Gold Winner for Best Women Professional of the Year.

Ehrika Gladden

Ehrika Gladden, VP Market Strategy for EISG, was named to Savoy Magazine’s list of 2016 Top Influential Women in Corporate America.

Michele Guel

Michele D. Guel, Distinguished Engineer and Chief Security Architect, is the winner of the Anita Borg Institute’s 2016 Leadership ABIE Award. The award recognizes women who connect, inspire and guide others.

Chris Jacobs, Director of Certifications and Delivery, was named Silver Winner in the 8th Annual 2016 Golden Bridge Awards for Program Professional Woman of the Year for her outstanding achievements as a leading female professional in the technology industry.

Yvette Kanouff

Yvette Kanouff, SVP and GM, Cisco Service Provider Business, was named Female Tech Pioneer of the Year at the Women in Comms Leading Lights Awards.

Yvette was also named a Cable Pioneer at the Internet and Television Expo (INTX). She’s also included in the CableFAX 100 list, “commemorating the cable industry’s most iconic power list.”

Fran Katsoudas, SVP and Chief People Officer, received a PBWC Industry Leader Award from the Professional Business Women of California: “In a world where work is changing faster than people, she is creating an agile, flexible and learning work environment for employees.”

Steve Martino

Maria Medrano

Maria Medrano is on Silicon Valley Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 list, honoring those who have achieved a high level of responsibility in their careers and contributed to the betterment of the region through community involvement.

Monique Morrow

Monique Morrow, CTO New Frontiers Engineering, was named a YWCA New York City Woman of Influence. She was also recognized as one of the Top 50 Most Inspirational Women in European Tech by Inspiring Fifty.

Morrow was awarded CloudNOW’s Top Women in Cloud Innovations, and was listed on CIO UK’s Top 100 Female CIOs.

Kate O’Keefe

Kate O’Keefe is one of Fast Company’s 100 Most Creative People “for enabling huge companies to figure out the future, faster.”

Kate is also a Woman of Vision according to the Anita Borg Institute.

Laura Quintana

Laura Quintana, VP Corporate Affairs, was named to the Hispanic IT Executive Council’s HITEC Top 100 List for 20016-2017.

Rajeev Raman

Rajeev Raman is one of the Top 50 VOD Professionals in North America, according to VOD Professional magazine.

Ileana Rivera

Hilton Romanski

Drew Rosen

Drew Rosen, Director of Technical Support, won a 2016 Learning! Champion Award in the Innovator category, joining other champions who drive organizational performance through learning.

Shari Slate

Shari Slate, Chief Inclusion and Collaboration Officer, was named to Diversity Global Magazine’s 25 Champions of Diversity in STEM.

She was also named to Savoy Magazine’s list of 2016 Top Influential Women in Corporate America.

Kristine Snow

John N. Stewart

John N. Stewart, SVP and Chief Security and Trust Officer, was named the Gold Winner in Security/IT Department of the Year by Info Security Products Guide.

Ellie Ulrich

Ellie Ulrich is a Rising Star in Technology, an award that showcases the female pipeline in the UK, particularly women who are role models. Ellie manages the apprenticeship program for Cisco UK and Ireland.

Dr. Alison Vincent

Dr. Alison Vincent, CTO of Cisco UK International, is one of the Top 50 Influential Women in Engineering, a list compiled by the Daily Telegraph to coincide with National Women in Engineering Day.

Karen Walker

Karen Walker, our SVP and Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), is number 5 on the list of Most Successful CMOs in the US, according to ExecRank. Karen earned this recognition for her role in “positioning Cisco’s growth strategy, cultivating opportunities in new and existing customer markets, and growing demand for Cisco’s solutions globally.”

Debbi Wan

Debbi Wan, strategic sourcing manager of global manufacturing operations, is one of the young professionals recognized in the 30 Under 30 Rising Supply Chain Stars program.

KC Wu

KC Wu, SVP Operations Architecture, is one of Outstanding 50 Asian Americans in Business 2016. The award honors the achievements of Asian American entrepreneurs, professionals, and corporate executives.

Additionally, KC was honored at the YWCA Tribute to Women, which recognizes women who are role models for girls growing up in our community.

2015

Greg Akers

Greg Akers, SVP of Advanced Security Research and Government, was honored as a Disability Champion at Disability Matters 2015. Greg actively supports the empowerment of employees with disabilities, and he creates awareness of the unique perspectives they bring to the workplace.

Tunji Akintokun

Tunji Akintokun, Director of Global Virtual Sales, received the 2015 National Diversity Award for being a role model and in recognition for his mentoring and social initiatives on behalf of young people.

Akintokun has also been named by British GQ magazine as one of the 100 Most Connected Men in Britain. The award recognizes Britain's best collaborators and thought-leaders creating the connected world.

Trina Alexson

Trina Alexson, service delivery director for Cisco Canada, won the 2015 Leadership Excellence Award in the Diversity Champion category from Women in Communications and Technology.

Esme Barriga

Esme Barriga, Cisco Services program manager, was chosen by the Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility (HACR) to take part in the 2015 HACR Young Hispanic Corporate Achievers Program (YHCA).

Jeanne Beliveau-Dunn

Jeanne Beliveau-Dunn, VP and GM of Learning@Cisco, was named a Female Executive of the Year at the Stevie Awards for Women in Business.

Edna Conway

Edna Conway, Sr. Director Supply Chain Security, won the Supply Chain Security Pros to Know Award, which recognizes executives delivering solutions that meet the challenges of the future.

Allyson Corcoran

Allyson Corcoran, director, Operations of Cisco Technical Services, won an award in the Achievement category at the ARN Women in ICT Awards for her professional achievements. Read more.

Guillermo Diaz, Jr.

Guillermo Diaz, Jr., SVP and Chief Information Officer, received the Hispanic IT Executive Council’s Estrella Award. The award recognizes Hispanic leaders in technology who have made the greatest impact in addressing diversity in technology.

Rebecca Jacoby

Rebecca Jacoby, our SVP and Chief of Operations, was inducted into CIO magazine’s CIO Hall of Fame. The honor is given to chief information officers who show creative vision and practical leadership. Hall of Fame inductees were celebrated at the CIO 100 Symposium in August.

Yvette Kanouff

Yvette Kanouff was included as one of the "Top Women in Technology" in Cablefax’s Most Powerful Women in Cable 2015 list.

Yvette was also on the Cablefax 100 Digital Hot List for 2015.

Monique Morrow

Monique Morrow, CTO of Services, appeared on the cover of Connected World. The magazine publishes the WoM2M list, which identifies the most accomplished women in technology. Read "Women of Tech Prevail".

Morrow was recognized at the 2015 European Ada Awards for spearheading an Internet of Women movement as an opportunity for women worldwide to collectively shape the future of the Internet.

Morrow was also named in the Top 10 Influential Women in Europe by Think Progress.

Danffer Ni, VP and GM of the Partner Organization in Greater China, received the 2015 Channel Star of the Year award from Computer Business Information.

John Stewart

John Stewart, SVP and Chief Security and Trust Officer, received the award for Excellence in the Field of Information Security at the RSA Conference. He was recognized for “helping elevate awareness across the industry of the importance of trust, accountability and transparency from IT vendors.”

John also received the Compass Award for excellence, achievement, and leadership security.

He was named Chief Security Officer of the Year at the Golden Bridge Awards’ Business and Innovation Awards event.

John was also recognized at the International Business Awards (“The Stevies”). He was named an Executive of the Year (Bronze winner) in Computer Hardware and Software.

Manjula Talreja

Manjula Talreja, Vice President, Global Cloud Business Development was included as one of the "Top Tech Minorities" in Cablefax’s Most Influential Minorities 2015 list.

Our Cisco Capital organization won the Best Global Captive Technology Finance Team award for its lifecycle financing program.

Best New Technology Implementation

Our Cisco Digital Learning Platform received Platinum honors in the category of Best New Technology Implementation form the LearnX Foundationh.

Best Next Generation Data Center Networking Architecture

Our Application Centric Infrastructure is the Best Next Generation Data Center Networking Architecture according to Sing Tao Daily Square Editor’s Choice 2015.

Data Center Networking Vendor of the Year

In the Channel Middle East awards we won the Data Center Networking Vendor of the Year award, defeating some tough competition. We were recognized for our impressive roster of data center customers in the region, including the first service provider in the world to deploy our Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) data center.

Additionally, we are the winner of ITP Channel Middle East's Partner Excellence Award in the Enterprise Networking Vendor category. Our successes in government, healthcare, and education won high marks in a competitive field.

Computerworld Hong Kong Awards

Cisco products received two honors at the Computerworld Hong Kong Awards 2015. Our Cisco Catalyst 6800 Series Switches received an award in the Networking: Enterprise LAN category, and our FirePOWER NGIPS products in the Security IDS/IPS category.

Innovation Leader

According to IT Brand Pulse, we’re the Innovation Leader in several categories and subcategories:

Engineers' Choice Award

Control Engineering gave the Engineers’ Choice Award to Rockwell Automation for a product they OEM from us—the Statix 5100 wireless access point—in the Network Integration/Wireless Products category.

Innovation Awards

The Global Telecom Business Summit and Innovation Awards highlight solutions created by telecom vendors and operators working together.

Cisco and XL Axiata jointly won the Network Infrastructure Innovation award for transforming mobile service delivery in Indonesia. Cisco, out partner Telindus, and Aspider-NGI won the award for Business Service Innovation.

Global Excellence Awards

The Info Security Products Guide gave two Global Excellence awards to Cisco:

  • Chief Security Officer of the Year (Gold Award) to John N. Stewart, our SVP and Chief Security and Trust Officer
  • Security/IT Project of the Year (Silver Award) to Sujata Ramamoorthy, Director of Information Security, for her team’s execution of the Cisco Unified Security Metrics project
IOC Award

We are the first IT company to win the International Olympic Committee (IOC) award. The award recognizes the importance of Cisco networking and collaboration technologies and the connections we are making in the country.

IoT Evolution Awards

The Software Platforms Group received three awards recognizing our smart services solutions and Automation & Analytics platform. In the 2015 IoT Evolution AwardsCisco's Connected Analytics for Events solutionCisco Patient Connect, powered by the Cisco Interactive Experience Platform and Cisco's Smart Net Total Care.

Network Middle East Innovation Awards

Cisco won three major awards at the Network Middle East Innovation Awards 2015:

  • Unified Communications Vendor of the Year – In recognition of the Cisco Service Exchange Platform, a US deployment in Kuwait, and Collaboration Meeting Rooms
  • Cloud Implementation of the Year – For innovative use of Cisco technology to deliver radiology services to remote areas
  • Networking Professional of the Year – To Wael Abdulal, Senior Manager of Collaboration
Outstanding Enterprise of Innovation Leader

The Economic Observer, a prominent financial publication in China, gave us the award for Outstanding Enterprise of Innovation Leader.

SDN Technology Innovation Award

Cisco Digital Support won two bronze Stevie Awards at the International Business Awards: Best Integrated Mobile Experience and Best Home/Welcome Page.

Additionally, Cisco Support and Services received the Grand Stevie Award, which is awarded to companies with the most judges’ points.

2016 Top Ten Best Support Websites. Cisco Digital Support received this award from the Association of Support Professionals for the seventh straight year.

Excellence in Technology

Our Learning@Cisco team won a silver award for Best Advance in Unique Learning Technology for our Cisco Collaborative Knowledge Solution, from the Brandon Hall Group.

The team also won a Social Learning Award of Excellence fromeLearning! magazine.

STAR Award

Cisco won the STAR Award for "Best Practices in Knowledge Management" from the Technology Services Industry Association (TSIA). We have now won the STAR Award 26 times, helping Cisco lead the TSIA Hall of Fame over companies that include EMC, HP, Oracle and SAP.

Stevie Award

We are the Stevie Award  Gold winner for 2015 in two categories: "Global Sales Team of the Year" and "Innovation in Sales." We're also the Silver winner in the "Best Use of Technology in Sales" category. And congratulations to John Donovan, our vice president of Global Virtual Sales, who is the Bronze winner in the category Worldwide Sales Executive of the Year.

Technology Standard of Excellence Award

The Cisco Support Community won the Web Marketing Association’s 2015 Technology Standard of Excellence Award this recognizes our outstanding Achievement in Web Development. The Cisco Support Community is honored to have received 12 awards in the last few years.

Ten Best Web Support Sites Award

Our Smart Web Technology Group received the Ten Best Web Support Sites award from the Association of Support Professionals for the sixth year in a row. This award distinguishes the Cisco Support Website and Cisco Technical Support mobile app for best-in-class digital support.

The International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) gave us a Gold Quill Award in the category of Communication Skills - Audio/Visual. We won the award for our introduction of Cisco 360, an innovative way to deliver Cisco news to employees.

Hermes Creative Awards

Cisco is a Platinum Winner in four categories in the Hermes Creative Awards:

Cisco's Talent Brand Social Media Team won the HRO Today Best Use of Social Media award for our social media efforts to attract talent.

2015

Digital PR and Social Media Awards

PR Daily’s Digital PR and Social Media Awards honored Cisco as the winner of Best Website for The Network.  We also received honorable mentions in the Content Marketing/Brand Journalism category for The Network, and Best Digital and Social Media Activity Blog, in the Event category, for our  documentary “The Detected.”

Gold Quill Award

The International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) gave us a Gold Quill Award for Excellence in Digital Communications. We introduced an online tool that makes it easy for employees to select the medical plan that’s right for them.

We received IABC’s Gold Quill Award for Corporate Social Responsibility Communications for the work led by Jena Corda, Employee Communications Manager, in partnership with our Community Relations team, on a successful Global Hunger relief campaign.

The IABC also gave the Gold Quill award to Michael Lenz, Director of Brand Experience, and Mark Buchanan, Brand Language Program Lead, in recognition of Ten Tips for Better Writing, a widely used guide for writing in our new more natural voice.

Golden Bridge Award

We won a Golden Bridge Award for Communications/PR Team of the Year. Team members include Joie Healy, Mary Bradburne, Kirsten Chiala, Kati Dahm, Brittany Coletti, Stephanie Chan, and Alex Romano.

Hermes Creative Awards

Cisco is a Platinum Winner in two categories in the Hermes Creative Awards:

In Canada, Cisco is one of the Top Foreign Corporate Citizens, according to Corporate Knights magazine.
