Carmen Collins, Social Media Manager, won the Social Media Professional of the Year award at the 2016 PR People Awards by PR News.
Edna Conway, our CSO for Global Value Chain, was named Chief Security Officer of the Year by the Info Security Products Guide.
Additionally, Edna received the Outstanding Contribution Award from The Open Group, an international standards body.
Edna was a Golden Bridge Awards Gold Winner for Executive of the Year. She was also named on the Best Women Professional of the Year category.
Michelle Dennedy, VP and Chief Privacy Officer, won Gold for Woman Executive of the Year – Information Technology Services.
Guillermo Diaz, Jr. was named to the Hispanic IT Executive Council’s HITEC Top 100 List for 20016-2017.
Mike Flannagan, VP Data and Analytics, is one of the Irish Technology Leadership Group’s 2016 Silicon Valley 50. The list honors Irish and Irish-American executives driving the most ground breaking work in technology.

Dennis Jaramillo was chosen by the Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility to take part in the 2016 Young Hispanic Corporate Achievers Program.
Yvette Kanouff, SVP and GM, Cisco Service Provider Business, was named Female Tech Pioneer of the Year at the Women in Comms Leading Lights Awards.
Yvette was also named a Cable Pioneer at the Internet and Television Expo (INTX). She’s also included in the CableFAX 100 list, “commemorating the cable industry’s most iconic power list.”
Fran Katsoudas, SVP and Chief People Officer, received a PBWC Industry Leader Award from the Professional Business Women of California: “In a world where work is changing faster than people, she is creating an agile, flexible and learning work environment for employees.”

John N. Stewart, SVP and Chief Security and Trust Officer, was named the Gold Winner in Security/IT Department of the Year by Info Security Products Guide.
Ellie Ulrich is a Rising Star in Technology, an award that showcases the female pipeline in the UK, particularly women who are role models. Ellie manages the apprenticeship program for Cisco UK and Ireland.
Dr. Alison Vincent, CTO of Cisco UK International, is one of the Top 50 Influential Women in Engineering, a list compiled by the Daily Telegraph to coincide with National Women in Engineering Day.
Karen Walker, our SVP and Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), is number 5 on the list of Most Successful CMOs in the US, according to ExecRank. Karen earned this recognition for her role in “positioning Cisco’s growth strategy, cultivating opportunities in new and existing customer markets, and growing demand for Cisco’s solutions globally.”
Debbi Wan, strategic sourcing manager of global manufacturing operations, is one of the young professionals recognized in the 30 Under 30 Rising Supply Chain Stars program.
KC Wu, SVP Operations Architecture, is one of Outstanding 50 Asian Americans in Business 2016. The award honors the achievements of Asian American entrepreneurs, professionals, and corporate executives.
Additionally, KC was honored at the YWCA Tribute to Women, which recognizes women who are role models for girls growing up in our community.
Greg Akers, SVP of Advanced Security Research and Government, was honored as a Disability Champion at Disability Matters 2015. Greg actively supports the empowerment of employees with disabilities, and he creates awareness of the unique perspectives they bring to the workplace.
Tunji Akintokun, Director of Global Virtual Sales, received the 2015 National Diversity Award for being a role model and in recognition for his mentoring and social initiatives on behalf of young people.
Akintokun has also been named by British GQ magazine as one of the 100 Most Connected Men in Britain. The award recognizes Britain's best collaborators and thought-leaders creating the connected world.
Trina Alexson, service delivery director for Cisco Canada, won the 2015 Leadership Excellence Award in the Diversity Champion category from Women in Communications and Technology.
Esme Barriga, Cisco Services program manager, was chosen by the Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility (HACR) to take part in the 2015 HACR Young Hispanic Corporate Achievers Program (YHCA).
Jeanne Beliveau-Dunn, VP and GM of Learning@Cisco, was named a Female Executive of the Year at the Stevie Awards for Women in Business.
Edna Conway, Sr. Director Supply Chain Security, won the Supply Chain Security Pros to Know Award, which recognizes executives delivering solutions that meet the challenges of the future.
Guillermo Diaz, Jr., SVP and Chief Information Officer, received the Hispanic IT Executive Council’s Estrella Award. The award recognizes Hispanic leaders in technology who have made the greatest impact in addressing diversity in technology.
Rebecca Jacoby, our SVP and Chief of Operations, was inducted into CIO magazine’s CIO Hall of Fame. The honor is given to chief information officers who show creative vision and practical leadership. Hall of Fame inductees were celebrated at the CIO 100 Symposium in August.
Monique Morrow, CTO of Services, appeared on the cover of Connected World. The magazine publishes the WoM2M list, which identifies the most accomplished women in technology. Read "Women of Tech Prevail".
Morrow was recognized at the 2015 European Ada Awards for spearheading an Internet of Women movement as an opportunity for women worldwide to collectively shape the future of the Internet.
Morrow was also named in the Top 10 Influential Women in Europe by Think Progress.
Danffer Ni, VP and GM of the Partner Organization in Greater China, received the 2015 Channel Star of the Year award from Computer Business Information.
Sujata Ramamoorthy, director, Global Information Security, won the Gold Award for InfoSec Metrics Results at the Women in Business World Awards.

Patrick Shao, managing director of Cisco Partner Business Organization of Greater China, was named "Channel Star of the Year" by Computer Business Information in China.
John Stewart, SVP and Chief Security and Trust Officer, received the award for Excellence in the Field of Information Security at the RSA Conference. He was recognized for “helping elevate awareness across the industry of the importance of trust, accountability and transparency from IT vendors.”
John also received the Compass Award for excellence, achievement, and leadership security.
He was named Chief Security Officer of the Year at the Golden Bridge Awards’ Business and Innovation Awards event.
John was also recognized at the International Business Awards (“The Stevies”). He was named an Executive of the Year (Bronze winner) in Computer Hardware and Software.
Manjula Talreja, Vice President, Global Cloud Business Development was included as one of the "Top Tech Minorities" in Cablefax’s Most Influential Minorities 2015 list.

In the Channel Middle East awards we won the Data Center Networking Vendor of the Year award, defeating some tough competition. We were recognized for our impressive roster of data center customers in the region, including the first service provider in the world to deploy our Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) data center.
Additionally, we are the winner of ITP Channel Middle East's Partner Excellence Award in the Enterprise Networking Vendor category. Our successes in government, healthcare, and education won high marks in a competitive field.

The Info Security Products Guide gave two Global Excellence awards to Cisco:

We are the first IT company to win the International Olympic Committee (IOC) award. The award recognizes the importance of Cisco networking and collaboration technologies and the connections we are making in the country.
The Software Platforms Group received three awards recognizing our smart services solutions and Automation & Analytics platform. In the 2015 IoT Evolution Awards. Cisco's Connected Analytics for Events solution, Cisco Patient Connect, powered by the Cisco Interactive Experience Platform and Cisco's Smart Net Total Care.
Cisco won three major awards at the Network Middle East Innovation Awards 2015:

Cisco's Talent Brand Social Media Team won the HRO Today Best Use of Social Media award for our social media efforts to attract talent.
PR Daily’s Digital PR and Social Media Awards honored Cisco as the winner of Best Website for The Network. We also received honorable mentions in the Content Marketing/Brand Journalism category for The Network, and Best Digital and Social Media Activity Blog, in the Event category, for our documentary “The Detected.”
The International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) gave us a Gold Quill Award for Excellence in Digital Communications. We introduced an online tool that makes it easy for employees to select the medical plan that’s right for them.
We received IABC’s Gold Quill Award for Corporate Social Responsibility Communications for the work led by Jena Corda, Employee Communications Manager, in partnership with our Community Relations team, on a successful Global Hunger relief campaign.
The IABC also gave the Gold Quill award to Michael Lenz, Director of Brand Experience, and Mark Buchanan, Brand Language Program Lead, in recognition of Ten Tips for Better Writing, a widely used guide for writing in our new more natural voice.
We won a Golden Bridge Award for Communications/PR Team of the Year. Team members include Joie Healy, Mary Bradburne, Kirsten Chiala, Kati Dahm, Brittany Coletti, Stephanie Chan, and Alex Romano.
