We are very proud to stand out in our industry with the culture that we continue to build together with our 70,000+ employees.

Our people make amazing things happen every day and we want them to be proud to be a part of Cisco. We recently received numerous awards for our workplace, our people, our products and our solutions.

Our Workplace

Cisco recognized as the most sought-after employer in the Linkedin Most inDemand employers Awards.

We ranked No. 26 on the competitive North American list, No. 63 in EMEA and No. 40 in the United Kingdom based on the billions of interactions from Linkedin's more than 380 million members.

Singapore ranked No. 2 on GPTW. The Great Place to Work list honors the very best companies which have created a culture where employees trust the people they work for, have pride in what they do, and enjoy the people they work with.

We were honored to be named one of the most LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender) Inclusive Places to Work for 2016 by the Human Rights Campaign.


CSR Awards

Cisco was awarded for our global energy management program and our commitment to reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions globally, by AEE International Corporate Energy Management in the 2015 International Awards.

For the tenth year in a row Cisco is listed on the Dow Jones Sustainability North America Index. This annual review is based on a thorough analysis of Cisco’s economic, social, and environmental performance.

Cisco ranked No. 33 on CR’s 100 Best Corporate Citizens 2015 list. This serves as a buyer’s guide for the most responsible, sustainable and transparent companies

Cisco was awarded the most ethical Telecommunication Company for the eighth year in a row by Ethisphere magazine in the World’s Most Ethical Companies Honorees.

The San Francisco Business Times ranked Cisco No. 5 in the Top Bay Area Corporate Philanthropists 2015.

Cisco took the No. 2 spot in the Silicon Valley Business Journal Top 10 Silicon Valley Corporate Philanthropists for 2015. Cisco contributed US$14.3 million to local charitable organizations and US$36.88 million worldwide.

Cisco awarded Oracle’s top sustainability award, in the 2015 Oracle Sustainability Innovation Award honors select customers and their partners for the customer's use of any Oracle products to reduce their environmental footprint while reducing costs and improving business efficiencies using green business practices


Our People

Yvette Kanouff was included as one of the "Top Women in Technology" in Cablefax’s Most Powerful Women in Cable 2015 list. This award highlights Cisco as an employer of choice for industry-moving women and minorities in the TV/cable industry. Yvette received the same accolade from Cablefax in 2014.

Manjula Talreja, Vice President, Global Cloud Business Development was included as one of the "Top Tech Minorities" in Cablefax’s Most Influential Minorities 2015 list. This award highlights Cisco’s commitment to promoting workplace diversity. This is the second year that Manjula has been recognized by Cablefax as a minority leader in the cable industry.


Our Products, Solutions and Technology

Cisco placed first for WLAN Controller and Access Points, Fiber Channel Network Monitoring and Network Performance Monitoring in the 2015 Data Center Infrastructure IT Brand Leader awards by IT Brand Pulse.

The Software Platforms Group received three awards recognizing our smart services solutions and Automation & Analytics platform. In the 2015 IoT Evolution Awards. Cisco's Connected Analytics for Events solution, Cisco Patient Connect, powered by the Cisco Interactive Experience Platform and Cisco's Smart Net Total Care.

Cisco won the STAR Award for "Best Practices in Knowledge Management" from the Technology Services Industry Association (TSIA). We have now won the STAR Award 26 times, helping Cisco lead the TSIA Hall of Fame over companies that include EMC, HP, Oracle and SAP.

Cisco won four ITSMA Marketing awards, the most ever awarded to one company in a single year!

Cisco was designated as a Platinum Winner (the highest honor) in the Best Use of Social Media for Brand Journalism for The Network and Best Documentary for Cisco’s "True Stories of the Connected" Video Series in the Hermes Creative Awards.

PR Daily’s Digital PR & Social Media Awards honored Cisco as the winner of the best website for The Network.  We also received honorable mentions in the Content Marketing/Brand Journalism category for The Network, and Best Digital & Social Media Activity Blog, in the event category for The Detected documentary.

The Cisco Support Community won the Web Marketing Association’s 2015 Technology Standard of Excellence Award this recognizes our outstanding Achievement in Web Development. The Cisco Support Community is honored to have received 12 awards in the last few years.
