Industry Awards for the Amazing Things We Make Possible

Our people accomplish amazing things every day by connecting everything, innovating everywhere, and benefiting everyone. When we are delivering on these key tenants of Our People Deal—we are truly unstoppable.

Earlier this year, we launched our Awards Wall, a wonderful resource that highlights the amazing recognition our company has garnered over the past few years. This site can also be shared with everyone inside and outside of Cisco, serving as a showcase of the fantastic work we do for our customers, partners, and potential talent.

Here is a snapshot of recent wins we’re proud to share with you.

Services Awards

Cisco achieved certification under the J.D. Power Certified Technology Service and Support Program for the 10th consecutive year—an accomplishment no other company in any industry has achieved. This recognition shows our dedication to staying ahead of the changing needs of our customers and consistently driving their success and satisfaction.

Additionally, Cisco was awarded four STAR Awards at the annual TSIA Technology Services World conference in October:

• Best Practices in the Delivery of Support Services
• Best Practices in the Delivery of Field Service
• Innovation in Leveraging Social Support for Service Excellence
• Innovation in Strengthening Customer Relationships via Customer Success Teams

People Awards

Guillermo Diaz Jr., Laura Quintana, and Ileana Rivera were all named to the Hispanic IT Executive Council (HITEC) Top 100, which features the 100 most influential and notable Hispanic Professionals in IT.

Shari Slate and Ehrika Gladden were both named to Savoy Magazine’s list of 2016 Top Influential Women in Corporate America. Additionally, Shari Slate was also listed on Diversity Global’s 25 Champions of Diversity in STEM.

The YWCA of the City of New York honored Monique Morrow with the Woman of Influence Award for her commitment to inclusion and diversity in STEM. She was also awarded CloudNOW’s Top Women in Cloud Innovations, and was listed on CIO UK’s Top 100 Female CIOs.

Workplace Awards

In partnership with Great Place to Work, Fortune ranked Cisco 14th on their list of the World’s Best Multinational Workplaces, an improvement from last year’s ranking. We were also listed on Great Place to Work’s Best Workplaces for Flexibility, which highlights our dedication to giving employees the freedom to connect and innovate everywhere.

Cisco Singapore ranked 2nd on Singapore’s Best Companies to Work For by Great Place to Work. Cisco Canada was recognized as one of Canada’s Top 100 Employers for 2017, and Greater Toronto’s Top Employers 2016.

Cisco Greater China was selected as a winner of the 2016 Excellence in Human Resource Management Strategy award by 51job Inc, a leading integrated human resources provider in China. Similarly, Cisco Dalian was ranked 1st in the Dalian Best Employer Award, awarded by the Dalian Human Resources & Social Security Bureau.

Cisco placed 9th on Thomson Reuters’ first-of-its-kind Diversity & Inclusion Index, which ranks the top 100 publicly traded companies globally with the most diverse and inclusive workplaces.

Products/Technology Awards

Cisco’s Foundations to Success was awarded three Brandon Hall Group Excellence in Learning Awards:

• Best Use of Blended Learning
• Best Use of Video for Learning
• Best of Social/Collaborative Learning

Among other Excellence in Learning Awards, Cisco Digital Learning won for Best Use of Mobile Learning.

The Innovate Everywhere Challenge won three Brandon Hall Group Awards as well:

• Excellence in Talent Management: Best Advance in Employee Engagement
• Excellence in Talent Management: Best Unique Talent Management Program
• Excellence in Leadership: Emerging Stars
